2025 Drawings

I started playing Pokemon Mystery Dungeon DX around this time. It's so fun! The original Red Rescue team was such a big obsession to me as a kid. DX is one of those games that feels like it was made as a gift for me personally. I played as a Meowth so I could evolve into a Persian later. It makes up for when I was a Meowth in Explorers of Darkness and they didn't let you evolve. I was so disappointed. Anyway, I picked a Machop to be my partner because that felt like a unique choice, and I ended up feeling really attached to her.

Gouache paint, pen and colored pencils. And some white paint pen. I think this is actually really pretty.

Sometimes I just wanna slap out a simple pretty drawing, with pretty hair and pretty flowers. even though I think flowers are kind of a pain to draw.

They're kinda making a face. Hard to say if it's because drawing and sometimes you gotta make faces while you draw, or if it's just that they have a resting frumpy expression.

Pen, various markers, gouache paint and acrylic paint pens. I was thinking of this particular Lisa Frank art that I've always really really liked.

Seeing a rendition of it with Reb and Xadrian really makes my heart happy, it's very special... I tried to capture some of the brightness of the colors, which was interesting to figure out how to do with traditional medium. I ended up really enjoying the unusual combo of markers and paints.

Gouache paints, colored pencils and white paint pen. A new paint palette was mixed for this, because I was looking at pictures of wisterias and felt that none of my current palettes had quite the right range of purples and cool tones. I really like how it turned out, and I think this drawing is kinda pretty too.

Based on a little carnival event we had in Kadreamin world. Ari is very proud of her big win. Maveric was just given his prizes. He doesn't seem impressed but I think he likes them.

I forgot to write the month on this. Very much a just draw something just because drawing. Not a lot of thought went into it besides that I think it was rainy or damp that day.

Pen and colored pencils. background color is marker with white or off-white color pencil on top. I love Pokemon X/Y's pokepuffs.

And I love making outfits based on random things. There are 5 main flavors of Pokepuffs, but I only had the attention span to make 4, especially since the mocha and spice flavors are both brown, so I combined them. These drawings are very joyful for me.

(only screenshot I could find lol it looks so crunchy and dingy out of context) It's design is so pleasing to me, I let myself indulge in another instance of designing an outfit after something random...

I want to wrap myself in the stars sometimes... nnn... Anyway. For a prompt I had the words "Nightfall" and "blanket" and went pretty straight forward with it.

Gouache and paint pen mess. I like fun Halloween. I feel like I don't get enough cute-fun Halloween in my life. I was trying to give it a feel like it had been decorated with a bunch of stickers.

The cookies of my dreams. I did a base color of Astra with markers and added details with colored pencil and a little bit of paint pen. Might've been nice to make the background transparent but I ehh... I didn't make my linework neat enough to have the magic wand tool do the work for me.

Reb but cold. Not much to say about it, it's just a gouache painting with graphite lines.

I just received a new set of ohuhu markers for Christmas!! To test them out I drew a simple Reb and Xadri, because I never tire of seeing them. The markers feel great. I had fun layering the colors, since I was challenging myself to not suppliment with any colored pencils or paints like I normally would.
