2025 Drawings

This is not meant to be a definitive collection of everything I have drawn in this year, but rather a way to keep organized the drawings that wouldn't go into a specific folder otherwise.
January - Rescue Team Partners
I started playing Pokemon Mystery Dungeon DX around this time. It's so fun! The original Red Rescue team was such a big obsession to me as a kid. DX is one of those games that feels like it was made as a gift for me personally. I played as a Meowth so I could evolve into a Persian later. It makes up for when I was a Meowth in Explorers of Darkness and they didn't let you evolve. I was so disappointed. Anyway, I picked a Machop to be my partner because that felt like a unique choice, and I ended up feeling really attached to her.
Gouache paint, pen and colored pencils. And some white paint pen. I think this is actually really pretty.

April - Rainbow colors
Pen, various markers, gouache paint and acrylic paint pens. I was thinking of this particular Lisa Frank art that I've always really really liked.
Seeing a rendition of it with Reb and Xadrian really makes my heart happy, it's very special... I tried to capture some of the brightness of the colors, which was interesting to figure out how to do with traditional medium. I ended up really enjoying the unusual combo of markers and paints.

May - Bright colors
Pen, markers, gouache paint, paint pens, Wanted another go at the fun, bright colors marker and paints thing.

May - Zaara and wisterias
Gouache paints, colored pencils and white paint pen. A new paint palette was mixed for this, because I was looking at pictures of wisterias and felt that none of my current palettes had quite the right range of purples and cool tones. I really like how it turned out, and I think this drawing is kinda pretty too.

August - Strawberry Milk
I love strawberry milk I make an outfit to go with it for Gloria. happiness.

August/September - Downcast Day
I forgot to write the month on this. Very much a just draw something just because drawing. Not a lot of thought went into it besides that I think it was rainy or damp that day.

September - Pokepuff Outfits
Pen and colored pencils. background color is marker with white or off-white color pencil on top. I love Pokemon X/Y's pokepuffs.
And I love making outfits based on random things. There are 5 main flavors of Pokepuffs, but I only had the attention span to make 4, especially since the mocha and spice flavors are both brown, so I combined them. These drawings are very joyful for me.
